The Project outsourcing module allows you to delegate project management responsibilities to trusted suppliers. With the Project Outsourcing module, suppliers can be responsible for project management tasks, including job management and client delivery. This feature is available as an additional paid service and is now supported for Codyt projects as well.

NEW Order Custom Fields Can Now Be Individually Shown or Hidden for Each Client

Previously, the visibility of order custom fields for all external users was determined globally on the custom field settings page. This could be inconvenient when certain custom fields were not relevant for some clients but relevant for others. To add more flexibility, we've introduced a new feature on the client profile page. Navigate to a client's profile and select the 'Client portal' tab to find an option to customize the custom fields for that specific client.

IMPROVED Enhancement to Price List Services: Custom Rates Now Transparently Reflected in Cost Details and Invoices

Wordbee offers the ability to define personalized rates for pricing services based on pre-translation levels or other criteria. When calculating the cost of a supplier's work or for a client, these customized rates are now included in the cost details. Previously, these rates were not displayed as actual rates, but rather as discounted percentages from the base unit price.

IMPROVED Enhanced Flex API: Improved Error Handling for Creating New Flex Documents

We have enhanced the API method used to create new Flex documents. Previously, if a document with the same name already existed, the system would remove and replace the existing document without any notification. However, we have now updated the API to provide a clear error message if the document already exists. This will help users to avoid accidental deletion of their documents and improve the overall user experience.

IMPROVED Improved Handling of Markup-Heavy Content in Textshuttle MT Connector

We have made improvements to the Textshuttle MT connector to ensure that a single translation request does not exceed the maximum size limit. By making modifications to the code, the connector will now operate smoothly without any failures due to size limitations.

IMPROVED Improvement to Multilingual Excel Parsers

We have resolved an issue in the Columns section of multilingual Excel parsers where selecting columns with names containing two or more letters was causing problems. Our solution now understands Excel's naming scheme for column references, ensuring seamless sorting functionality.

FIX Microsoft Word: Resolving 'emp' Suffix Issue When Converting LTR to RTL Translated Documents

When translating documents from left-to-right (LTR) to right-to-left (RTL) languages in Microsoft Word, an invalid "emp" suffix may have appeared in the translated file. This issue sometimes caused confusion and disrupted the document's formatting. We have now fixed this issue.

FIX Enhancement to Translation Attachment Upload Mechanism

We have enhanced the mechanism used to upload translation attachments. Previously, files that included a "\" in the file name would be prevented from being uploaded. We now include the "\" as a valid character, and it will no longer hinder a file from being attached.

FIX Correction Made to Microsoft Cognitive Services Connector Displaying Proper Version 3 Support

The Microsoft connector has been supporting version 3 of Microsoft Cognitive Services since its release. However, there was an error in the user interface which incorrectly indicated support for version 2. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused and want to assure you that this issue has been resolved.

FIX Low Risk Level Vulnerabilities Resolved

Wordbee strives to secure its software. We periodically review security internally and externally. We have identified four low-risk XSS vulnerabilities on the projects and orders pages for the Manager and instruction columns. These vulnerabilities have been resolved.

FIX Clients Can No Longer Manually Enter an Earlier Deadline Than What Is Allowed by the Deadline Calculation Options

We have fixed an issue where clients could manually enter an earlier deadline than was allowed by the deadline calculation options while submitting orders. Now, if a user tries to do this, the deadline field will be cleared automatically to ensure the deadline is within the allowable range.

IMPROVED Spaces-Doubles QA Rule Now Considers Markup When Evaluating Translations

When two spaces are separated by markup, the system used to flag the text as an invalid sequence of multiple spaces. The system did this because the markup is removed prior to evaluating the "Spaces-Doubles" rule. This led to false positives in the QA checks. We have improved this behavior, and now any markup in-between spaces is considered when running the "Spaces-Doubles" QA rule.

IMPROVED Improvements to Branding Customization

Admins can now upload and change the logo image at any time in the settings tab: Colors, Logo & Contents.

FIX API V2 Companies/List Call Now Matches Assigned Access

FIX Monolingual Tasks Correctly Trigger Workflow Completion

Monolingual tasks will now correctly trigger workflow automation. Previously, these types of tasks would trigger an error resulting in the project status staying "in progress." We have improved this behavior.
