FIX [Hotfix] Invoice Calculation of Totals: Rectifying Error with Minimum Charges

Since the last release, we have identified a bug related to minimum charges. Specifically, there was a discrepancy between the invoice total displayed in the Invoice List and the total displayed when viewing the invoice online. It should be noted that the total amount within the invoice document itself remains correct, but the saved total does not reflect this. This issue has now been rectified.

Previously, our client price lists featured the option to automatically include fees or discounts in invoices. However, these fees remained fixed and did not adjust when invoice lines or amounts were edited. We have now introduced a dynamic system that ensures fees, whether added from the price list or manually in the invoice, are efficiently and automatically recalculated. This enhancement streamlines the fee management process, providing you with accurate and up-to-date fee calculations with every invoice amendment. Experience the convenience of effortless fee adjustments.

IMPROVED Streamlining Manager Selection: Display Only Qualified Project Managers for Project Assignment

Previously, on the project edit screen, when assigning a manager to a project, we displayed all internal users without considering their access rights to manage projects. However, we have implemented an enhancement where we now exclusively present users who possess the necessary access rights. There is one exception to this rule: If the total number of internal users is fewer than 20, we will continue to display all users for selection. This improvement ensures that only qualified users are shown as options for project management roles.

IMPROVED Enhanced Pricing Display: Improved "incl. VAT" Visibility on Client Orders

In response to customer feedback, we have implemented an improvement regarding the display of "incl. VAT" on client orders. Previously, the system inconsistently displayed this text, potentially confusing clients about VAT inclusion in listed prices. With this latest enhancement, clients will have an even more streamlined experience, as the text "incl. VAT" will consistently accompany prices for all orders. This enhancement significantly improves transparency, providing clients with a clear understanding of their total charges.

IMPROVED Enhanced PPTX Parser to Reduce Number of Tags Displayed in Editor

We have made important improvements to our pptx parser, reducing the number of tags displayed in the editor. This optimization minimizes tag clutter, allowing users to focus on content being translated without distractions.

IMPROVED Revised Default Editing Permissions for Internal Co-Owners on Orders

In the case of an internal order (submitted by a client within "My Company"), co-owners previously had unrestricted editing rights, allowing them to modify order status and details at will. However, we have recently implemented a change to align the status change and editing permissions of co-owners with those of the order submitter. By default, co-owners retain the ability to change the status based on the workflow requirements. Nevertheless, they no longer possess the authority to edit order details. If a co-owner requires unrestricted editing rights, kindly refer to access right R403 for appropriate permissions.

We have expanded available company types in Wordbee. In addition to the existing Company types we we have added the following types:

Multi-Language Agency
Content Creator
Marketing Reviewer
Quality Reviewer
Subject Matter Expert
These additions will provide greater flexibility and accuracy when categorizing companies within the Wordbee platform. Users can now select the most suitable company type that aligns with their organization's profile and services.

FIX Microsoft MT Connector Alphabet Selection Issue for Serbian Language Codes Resolved

We have resolved an issue within the Microsoft MT connector. This issue pertained to the incorrect alphabet selection for Serbian language codes. In certain cases, the connector would mistakenly choose the wrong alphabet. For instance, "sr-Latn-BA" should utilize the Latin alphabet, while "sr" or "sr-Cyrl" should default to Cyrillic. With this fix, the correct alphabet selection is now ensured, providing accurate translations for Serbian language codes.

FIX Inconsistent Delivery of Notification Emails for Project Outsourcing to External Vendors

Recently, Wordbee introduced the feature of outsourcing projects to external vendors, a capability that requires a subscription option. This process includes an email notification sent to the selected vendor. However, when a project manager changes the vendor, the initial vendor doesn't receive a revocation email notification. This issue has now been rectified.

FIX Source Text Updates Now Applied in Multilingual Excel Configuration

In the multilingual Excel configuration, an issue was discovered where enabling the "Content is HTML" option prevented any updates made in the source text from being applied to the preview or finalized file. This issue has been identified and resolved, and the source text updates are now correctly applied regardless of whether the "Content is HTML" option is enabled or disabled.

FIX Resolution and Enhanced Error-Handling for Selecting TermBase Hits in the Editor

Previously, users encountered an issue where selecting TermBase hits resulted in errors. With this update, we have addressed the underlying cause of this error, ensuring that users can now seamlessly select TermBase hits without encountering any issues. In addition to the error fix, we have also implemented a more robust error-handling mechanism to prevent similar issues from arising in the future. This enhancement strengthens the overall stability and reliability of the Editor, providing a smoother experience for users.

FIX Flex: Markup Replacement Errors Impacting Text Generation

We addressed a problem where markup replacement successfully worked for the first segment but failed to function correctly in subsequent segments. This issue caused inconsistencies and errors in the generated output. With the identified problem resolved, users can rely on the correct and consistent markup replacement throughout all segments.

FIX Resolved "Access Denied" Issue on Cost Tab for Admins in Archived Projects

We have addressed an issue regarding access restrictions for admin users on the Cost tab. Previously, when a project was archived, admins encountered an "Access Denied" error when attempting to access the Cost tab. We have successfully resolved this issue, and administrators can now access the Cost tab without any access restrictions, even for archived projects.

FIX Maintaining Correct Bracket and Quotation Mark Positions in Bidirectional Language Contexts

We have successfully addressed a bug in the Microsoft Office parser that caused brackets or quotation marks surrounding Latin words at the end of Arabic text segments to be incorrectly positioned. This issue arose due to the complex nature of bidirectional languages. With our fix, these symbols now retain their proper placements, ensuring accurate multilingual formatting in Excel configurations.

FIX Eliminated ISO Code Inclusion in File Names During Source File Finalization Within Standard Projects.

The system would previously display the ISO code for the selected language in the file names, despite users choosing specific file name formats when finalizing a standard project file. We have resolved the issue and users can now expect a more accurate and streamlined file naming process, with the ISO code no longer being included in the final file names.

FIX Streamlined File Path Display in Codyt Job Listings

We have resolved an issue with the display of file paths in Codyt job listings found in both "All my jobs" and "All company jobs" sections. Previously, a bug caused the file path name to be duplicated under the documents' name, making it harder to identify and manage files. With this bug fix, file names are no longer duplicated, resulting in a cleaner and more organized view. The root cause of the issue was traced back to the prior release and has been rectified.

FIX Resolved Issue with Right-to-Left (RTL) Translation in Microsoft Word

We have resolved an issue related to the Right-to-Left (RTL) translation in Microsoft Word. Previously, users encountered a bug where only the first page of the document would display properly in RTL format. We are pleased to inform you that this issue has been rectified, and the document now processes correctly with the RTL translation.

FIX Omissions in Properties When Presetting from a Project Workflow Profile

Previously, when presetting a project's workflow and suppliers properties from templates, certain properties were unintentionally omitted. We have successfully addressed this issue and rectified the bug. To preset a workflow, simply access the project's "Workflow & Suppliers" page and locate the preset option in the top right corner of the page.

FIX Misplaced Tag Errors during Document Finalization in Arabic Translations Resolved

Previously, when finalizing documents translated into Arabic, an error would occur, indicating misplaced tags and disrupting the document's formatting. Removing these tags would result in formatting disruptions in the finalized document. We have identified and resolved the issue. Users can now finalize files without removing tags or compromising formatting integrity.

FIX Resolved Issue with Previewing Sample Data in Client Portal

We've resolved a bug where previewing sample data in the client portal would result in an "Operation Failed" error. Users can now successfully preview sample data without encountering any errors.

FIX Codyt Jobs Page Loading Issue When Filtering Searches with Custom Fields Resolved

We have resolved an issue where the Codyt Jobs page would fail to load when applying custom field filters during a search. Users can now conveniently filter their job searches using custom fields, ensuring a smoother and more efficient experience.

FIX Default Invoice List Filter Issue Resolved: Incorrect Codyt/Standard Filter Disabled

We unintentionally introduced an issue into the invoices list. By default, it started filtering invoices specifically from Codyt projects, which deviated from our previous behavior of displaying all invoices. However, we have promptly addressed this issue and restored the default setting to show all invoices, just as we did before.

NEW Codyt Job Search: Introducing Default Filter for Most Recent Jobs

The latest update to Codyt's job listings introduces a default setting that only displays jobs created within the last 3 months. However, users still have the flexibility to select the option to view all jobs as before. This enhancement has several benefits, including a more focused experience where users only see the most relevant job listings. Additionally, the optimized load time ensures a faster and smoother browsing experience.

IMPROVED Addition of an Optional Column on the Order Page to Indicate Supplier Outsourcing

Our platform offers the flexibility to fully outsource projects and project management to external suppliers, which can be enabled based on your subscription settings. To increase transparency and streamline workflows, we have now extended this feature to the Orders page. The outsourcing supplier can now be viewed directly on the Orders page, alongside other relevant project details. This additional column, already available on the Projects page, is now accessible to internal users and can be easily added to the list. Having this information at your fingertips allows you to quickly and efficiently manage and track outsourced projects from one central location.

IMPROVED Enhancing Supplier Group Functionality: Exclude Disabled Services from Listings

We have implemented a solution to improve the functionality of static supplier groups following an identified bug. Previously, disabled services were incorrectly displayed within the groups, causing confusion and potential service allocation errors. With the latest system update, disabled services are now appropriately hidden from group listings. This improvement ensures that only active and relevant services are visible within supplier groups, streamlining the process of assigning jobs to appropriate suppliers. Should a disabled service need to be reactivated, it will seamlessly reappear within the relevant group, maintaining a clear and accurate view of available services.

IMPROVED Enhancing Offline XLIFF Export: Addition of 'translate' Attribute in XLIFF

With the latest update, the XLIFF export functionality now includes the "translate" XLIFF-attribute at the translation unit level when taking work offline. If the translation is locked for editing, the attribute will be set to "no"; otherwise, it will be set to "yes". The inclusion of this attribute is particularly beneficial as it facilitates the handling of XLIFF files by most Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) editors. This streamlined process enables more efficient and effective translation workflows.

IMPROVED Disable Automatic Activation of the “My Languages Only” Filter When Viewing Jobs in a Project.

When accessing the Codyt job list within a project, the system previously applied an automatic filter specifically for project managers. This filter would only display languages explicitly managed by the user, resulting in the list often appearing empty due to its advanced configuration. However, based on user feedback and in an effort to improve usability, we have opted to disable this filter by default. This will give users a more comprehensive view of the jobs list and reduce potential confusion caused by the previously empty display.

IMPROVED Unit Prices for Pricelist Services Now Accept Values up to 200,000

In response to user feedback and requests, we have enhanced our system by extending the accepted unit price limit for pricelist services. Previously, the maximum value allowed was 30,000. However, we have taken swift action to meet our users' requirements and have now increased the limit to 200,000. This enhancement applies not only to the unit prices of external services but also includes the service prices for internal users.

IMPROVED Custom Field Configuration: “Order Options” Now Allows 300 Characters Instead of 50

We have improved the "Order Options" field in the order-level custom fields. This field allows you to specify a regular expression that determines when the custom field is displayed based on the selected order option in the order form. Previously, the maximum length for this field was limited to 50 characters. However, we have now extended this limit to 300 characters, enabling the use of more intricate and complex regular expressions to meet specific requirements.

FIX Terminology Editor Issue: Custom Fields Exclusively Configured for "Terminology Databases" Fail to Display in the Editor

A bug prevented segment custom fields configured to be displayed exclusively with terminology records from appearing in the terminology editor. However, this issue has now been resolved, allowing the custom fields to be visible in the editor as intended. Users can now effectively manage and organize terminology records using custom fields without any hindrance.

FIX Mitigated XSS Vulnerability on the Order Submission Confirmation Page

We have successfully addressed a low-impact Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that was present in the order submission page. Previously, if a user entered HTML code into the order reference field, this code would be displayed on the subsequent order confirmation page. However, there was no actual exploitation possible when the order was accessed by the intended recipient. Nonetheless, we have taken immediate action to rectify the issue.

FIX Improved Functionality in Jobs Tab - Batch Assigning Suppliers and Workers

Previously, users encountered difficulties when attempting to assign suppliers and workers in batch mode within the Codyt Jobs tab. The list failed to open as intended, impeding the smooth execution of batch worker assignment. We have successfully resolved the problem, improving the existing feature. Users can now seamlessly open the list and perform batch worker assignments without any disruptions. This fix significantly enhances the overall effectiveness and usability of the Jobs tab, empowering users to manage supplier and worker assignments efficiently.

FIX Exclusion of Access Right R100 From External User Profiles: Enhanced Security Measures

We have addressed an issue pertaining to the access right R100 within the access profiles of external users. Previously, there was an inadvertent inclusion of this access right, which granted users the ability to search all clients and suppliers. However, despite being selected, this functionality did not perform as intended for these users. We are pleased to inform you that we have successfully resolved this matter, ensuring that the access right R100 functions properly and aligns with the designated user profiles.

FIX Resolved Issue With Viewing JSON V2 Filter Configuration for Processed Files

Users can view the parser configuration applied to any file within a translated project. In Codyt, this can be achieved by accessing the Management popup for the file and clicking on a designated link at the very bottom. Unfortunately, a bug prevented this functionality for files processed by the JSON v2 filter. As a result, the configuration details for such files could not be retrieved. This issue is now resolved.
