NEW New Parameter for QA Rule: Words - Repetitions

In this update, we've enhanced the "Words - Repetitions" QA rule by introducing a new parameter: Exclusions. This feature allows you to exclude specific characters or words, such as &, $, vous, or *, by simply separating them with a space. With Exclusions, you have more control over preventing these elements from being flagged as repetitions, making your quality assurance process even more precise.

NEW Word Count Profiles: New Option to Skip Machine Translation if a Fuzzy Match or Repetition Exists.

We have introduced a new option in the word count profiles that can assist in reducing machine translation costs. This new option is called "Do not machine translate if a match or repetition exists at or above" and requires you to choose a similarity threshold. The system will then refrain from machine translating a segment if a similar text is found in the project memory or any of the attached translation memories. The concept behind this feature is that as translators begin working on the content, the translation finder will retrieve these translations as the work progresses.

NEW Create a Unique ID for Codyt Jobs

We have made a significant enhancement to our job tracking and reporting capabilities with the introduction of a dedicated job ID for Codyt jobs. This new feature simplifies job management by providing a clear reference for Codyt jobs throughout our platform. You can now easily access job-specific information in the Edit View, filter and search for Codyt jobs using the new ID, generate business reports with a dedicated placeholder, and ensure clear job details when printing records or checking job statuses in the popup window. This update streamlines your workflow, making job tracking and reporting more efficient and user-friendly.

NEW New Business Report for Pay Per Use Licenses

The new report is intended for our customers who subscribe to both regular user licenses (with a specific number of concurrent logins) and Pay-Per-Use licenses (where you pay as you go for any additional logins being used). The report lists all incurred Pay-Per-Use logins along with their 24-hour validity and indicates to which user the login was assigned. This provides information for your monthly or yearly Pay-Per-Use invoices created by Wordbee. If you would like to learn more about Pay-Per-Use licenses, please contact your Account Manager.

NEW New Option for MSWord Parser

We're introducing a new feature that grants users the flexibility to extract and convert soft hyphens into markup. Within the MSWord parser settings, a new checkbox labeled "Extract soft hyphens and convert into markup" has been added. When enabled, soft hyphens will be transformed into markup in the output, providing enhanced control over document formatting. If left unchecked, soft hyphens will be ignored, ensuring they do not affect the final output.

IMPROVED XLIFF v2.0 Parsing Update

Previously users encountered an error when processing XLIFF v2.0 files that did not include the optional Target Language attribute. We have enhanced the system to display a user-friendly exception when this attribute is absent, rather than causing system errors. Our system now accurately complies with the XLIFF v2.0 specifications.

In this update, we've enhanced work descriptions for fuzzy pre-translations in quotes and invoices across English, German, Dutch, Spanish, French, and Portuguese languages. This improvement is aimed at fostering clearer communication and enhancing user experience.

IMPROVED Enhancement to Word Count Algorithm: Improved Handling of Adjacent Words with Markup

We've enhanced our 'MS Word' word count algorithm to correctly count adjacent words with markup as two separate words. Example: "Hello<img>world" is now recognized as two words. Please note that this update does not apply to the older 'CAT' algorithm.

FIX Error Resolution for Simultaneous Open Order Form

We've improved our order form submission mechanism to prevent errors that occured when opening multiple forms in different browsers or tabs. Previously, files chosen in the first form might have been mistakenly submitted with the second. This issue has been resolved.

NEW Enhanced Translation Management With Order ID Placeholder Integration for Project and Invoices

We have a developed a new feature that allows you to use the Order ID as a dynamic placeholder throughout the lifecycle of your project. This provides a consistent and essential reference in several scenarios: First, you can seamlessly integrate the Order ID into your project reference name, creating a clear link between the project and its associated order. In addition, when creating quotes or invoices, you can now include the Order ID in the invoice number, ensuring a consistent link between financial documents and the original order. We've also introduced a new placeholder, {projectseqid}, for quotes and invoices that provides unique incremental numbers for each client's financial documents, improving customization, tracking, and organization.

NEW Customization of Invoice Reference Assignment

In this latest update, we've introduced a valuable feature allowing users to tailor how invoice references are assigned within the system. Previously, invoice references were automatically linked to the associated order reference or, in the absence of an order, the project reference. With our new customization option, accessible via: Settings > Invoice processes > Client Invoices > Client invoice references, users have the power to choose whether the invoice reference should be linked to the order reference, project reference, or order ID. This enhancement provides users with greater control and flexibility in managing your invoicing processes.

NEW Retrieve Flex Document Id Directly From the Project Library

When linking via the Wordbee Link connector for InDesign or Google Sheets, you're prompted to select a project and a Flex document. For faster access, simply enter the unique document ID number. To find the Document Id number; right click on a Flex document in the Project Library and select "Flex > View Document ID" from the drop down menu.

IMPROVED Enhanced Work Progress Settings

A Project Manager has the option to share work progress details with the client through the Work Progress page of the order. This setting can be adjusted in the 'Workflow & Suppliers' page for each individual workflow step. For instance, a Project Manager might reveal the status of a translation task, but they opt to conceal the progress of the proofreading task. Previously, the progress of tasks that didn't require a document were not able to be shared. Now progress of all tasks in a workflow can be individually set to be shared or hidden from the client.

We recommend reasonable segmentation but understand it's not always possible. We have addressed an issue where the Editor would return an error when performing Global Searches on particularly large segments of text. This was due to a limitation in the search mechanism's capacity to handle large amounts of data in a single operation. With this fix, users can now seamlessly search across large segments of text within the Editor without encountering errors, providing an improved user experience and ensuring uninterrupted workflow. Within Codyt projects, users have the ability to replace a document currently being worked on with a new file version - a feature accessible from the 'Manage' popup. We have improved the file version upload feature. Previously, when users replaced a document with a new version, the workers were carried over, but job openings were not. With this enhancement, job openings are now carried over as well, ensuring consistency and efficiency in project management.

FIX Leading Narrow Non-Breaking Spaces Trimming Issue Resolved

In the latest update, we have resolved an issue where leading narrow non-breaking spaces (U+202F) at the start of strings were not being correctly trimmed. This problem could cause unexpected formatting and display issues within our application. With this update, we have ensured that leading narrow non-breaking spaces are now properly trimmed. This improvement guarantees that text and content display as intended, eliminating unnecessary spacing at the beginning, and enhancing overall user experience.
