NEW [New Editor] Improvement of Special characters within the editor on Firefox
Wordbee has improved the New Editor special character's compatibility on Firefox by allowing the WBT users to enter the key combination ALT+0201 to insert the character "É".
Wordbee also fixed at the same time the others ALT+number keyboard combinations.

NEW Revision history of translations: We now log text changes from the same user if the type of work is not the same
One and the same user may open the same document starting from two different jobs. For example the same user may be assigned a translation and a revision job and make edits for both. Normally, the system does not log changes if edits are done by the same user. However, when the job changes, edits from the same users are now logged.

WBT users are now able to update a specific language, custom field with a batch action, when the translation is empty. At the same time Wordbee performed some improvements so the exported Word or Excel document filename is the name of the original file, or else it is the job name.

After over 1 year of proposing two different translation editors, we announce that the new editor will soon become the only one. The old editor will be deprecated on November 1, 2018. We invite administrators to transition to the new editor as soon as possible. You can activate it on the home page inside the panel for this purpose (if you log in as the administrator). Also see:

NEW A new option has been added to disable standard authentication when a user connects to SSO
We have implemented a new option on the SSO configuration to disable the standard login when a user will connect to SSO (SAML).

NEW Vendor off days management: Additional options like setting off days/times per language
Availability times, weekends and off days can be set individually per supplier company and supplier person. This information is used in many places in the system including for automatic deadline estimation. The tools have now be extended and allow to set off days individually per source or target language In addition, a vendor can register an exceptional time period on a day that is not worked. Select a company or a person and click the "Planning" tab. A manager or the vendor can set the off days and exceptions here.
The business reports S530 and S531 include the new information. The relavant API v2 methods also include the new information.
Limitation: Deadline estimations do not yet consider language specific off days. This component may be extended at a later time.

The page now shows more accurate numbers about active user sessions. Nevertheless, the figures must be taken with care: A user session is removed upon explicit logout by the user or after an expiration period of up to 8 hours.Therefore the totals may be higher than in reality.

NEW Conditional workflow steps: Steps are added or not depending on the word count
Project workflow settings get a new option on each workflow step. The option is named "Step is enabled if specific conditions are met".
For example, you can now decide to skip the translation step entirely if 90% of segments are pretranslated. Or you can drop the translation and add a post-edit step if a document was fully pretranslated by memories or machine. The possibilities are endless and add a lot more flexibility to your workflows.
The workflow options (Codyt projects and workflow templates) work with marking files online, order processes, MT Hive post edit requests and Beebox links.

IMPROVED Order workflow improvement -> Send notification when order fails
Currently in the system, if an order fails, it simply does not appear anymore in the order list. To avoid misunderstanding, the system now allows for requester / managers to receive an email when this happen. Email are sent to user creating the order and the project manager if exist, in case order creation failed.

FIX Joining segments in the new translation editor may fail
The problem can occur In the case a document is split and assigned to two different jobs. When a user attempts to join a segment with the subsequent segment and the 2 segments cannot be joined in principle, then the document being edited may become corrupt. This problem was fixed.
