Upload your documents
To upload one or more documents to a project, open the Documents tab, select a language folder, and click Upload files or use Drag & Drop. Working files and reference material can both be uploaded from this library: paste them into the correct folder.
This article covers:
Uploading files to the project's Documents tab.
Preparing them for translation in the same flow, or later from the right-click menu.

Click Add to select files, then click Upload to start the upload. Click Clear list if you need to empty the upload list and start over.

After at least one file has uploaded successfully, the Prepare file(s) for translation checkbox appears below the file list. Tick it to chain straight into the preparation step:
Choose Mark online (preselected) or Mark offline. Mark offline is available only for Standard projects.
Click Continue to open the Prepare file(s) for translation popup.

If you prefer to prepare files later, leave the checkbox unticked and close the popup. You can prepare them at any time from the Documents tab by right-clicking a file and choosing Translate Yes/No, then Mark for online translation, Mark for offline translation, or Mark for no translation.

In the Prepare file(s) for translation popup, configure two main settings, then click Confirm:
Languages and workflow: Choose the target languages and a workflow. If you do not select a workflow, Wordbee Translator applies the project default.
Text extraction rules: Define how text is extracted from each file. Each format has a default profile, which you can override from the dropdown.

A green mark and a star next to each file in the Documents tab confirm that the file is ready to be translated.
