Classic Order Form Options

The following options are available when configuring the classic order form in Wordbee Translator:

OptionDescription
Clients Must Accept Terms & ConditionsEnter a URL to your Terms and Conditions and the client will be required to view these terms when accepting an order proposal. The terms may be disabled per client on that specific client's details page.
Source Languages

Configure the source languages the client is able to choose within the order form. By default this order form selection is mandatory; however, you may untick this option if source language selection is not required.

**Unless specific languages are specified, every available language will appear within the selection menu.

Configure the target languages the client is able to choose within the order form. By default this order form selection is mandatory; however, you may untick this option if target language selection is not required.

**Unless specific languages are specified, every available language will appear within the selection menu.

Order Form Deadline

Specify if clients are required to supply a deadline with a request. Optionally, constrains minimum lead time.

Deadline Default TimeSpecify the default deadline time in your timezone. Clients will see this time adjusted to their own timezone.
Default Country SelectionSpecify the country that will be selected by default within the order form.
Default Source LanguageSpecifty the source language that will be selected by default within the order form.
Default Target LanguageSpecify the target language that will be selected by default within the order form.
Phone NumberSpecify if the phone number is a mandatory field within the order form. By default, this option is disabled.

Allow Clients to Upload/Delete Files after Submitting a Request

By default a client cannot upload more files or delete files once a request is submitted. You can change defaults with this option.

Parameter/Options:

  • Do not allow uploads - After a client has submitted a request, the client can no longer upload or remove the uploaded files. Of course, the inhouse manager can explicitly allow/disallow the client to change files at any time independently of this option (this is done with the respective option in the order form).

  • Allow uploads while request is not processed - Recommended option. A client can change files but only until you have processed the request (proposal sent to client). This permits the client to make corrections right after submitting a request. Changes are blocked once the status has changed to 'Proposal' or later.

  • Allow uploads until work started - A client can change files but only until work is ready to start (proposal sent and accepted by client). Changes are blocked once the status has changed to 'In progress' or later.

  • Allow uploads until work closed or cancelled - Not recommended. Clients can change the files any time. Editing is finally and automatically disabled when the order is closed or cancelled.

**Even if this rule is enabled, users still require access rights for the related functionality or page. There may also be other rules that influence whether this rule has effect or not.
