Customize default fields when editing

By default, Wordbee displays the following fields when you edit a concept or a term: Definition, Explanation, Process status. Let us assume that you want to include also the Usage status field. To do this, edit the settings of the TBX fields and then add TBX field ID administrative status.

The new TBX field Usage status has been added to the default fields.

Promote fields

In the termbase Editor, you have the option to add additional TBX fields to your terminological entry by using the Add property+ function. As the list of properties is quite long, you can use Field Selector: Promote fields to promote the fields you use regularly at the top of the list.

Let us assume that you often use Context, Term type and Part of Speech and you want Wordbee to display them at the top of the Add property menu.

To do this, lookup the TBX IDs in the TBX field list and type them in the Field selector: Promote fields.

As a result, Wordbee will list Context, Part of Speech and Term type as Main fields in the menu of Add property function.
