This page shows items released so far this month.

Monday, May 11, 2026 - Version 2026.2.7.0 AZURE-EU SWITZERLAND

NEW Configurable Tag Order Check in the Markup QA Rule

The Markup QA rule now offers a Check tag order option in QA profiles. Existing profiles keep the current behavior by default. Disabling the check lets translators reorder tags for languages with different word order, while Wordbee Translator still verifies that the required tags are present and valid. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/qa-categories

QA, Translators, Project Managers - WM-24677

NEW Any Source Language and Any Target Language Options for the Multilingual Excel Parser

The multilingual Excel parser configuration now supports two new placeholders, Any Source Language and Any Target Language, that resolve to actual project locales at parsing time. Administrators can build a single file filter that works across any project regardless of language pair, instead of maintaining one configuration per language combination. When Any Target Language is used, each job produces its own bilingual deliverable with the source column preserved and the target column filled by the translator. Existing configurations are unaffected; the new options appear at the top of the language dropdown in the column setup. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/translating-excel-files-with-any-source-or-target-

NEW API Endpoint to Delete a Translation Memory or Term Base Import Batch

Authorized users can now delete a single import batch from a translation memory or term base by document ID through the API. The deletion runs asynchronously and returns an operation ID for status tracking. Project memory batches are not supported by this endpoint. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/api2/resources-documents--did---delete-

API, Administrators - WM-24224

NEW MT Hive API Now Supports Selecting a Client Company's Profile

API callers with cross-company management rights can now submit MT Hive translation requests using a specific client company's MT Hive profile by passing an optional profileCompanyId parameter. The system loads that company's configured engine, memories, parsers, and file formats, while the submitted request remains owned by the caller. This removes manual steps from multi-client automation flows. Omitting the parameter preserves the previous behavior. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/api2/apps-mthive-translate-files-post

API, Project Managers, Administrators - WM-24653

NEW Auto-Disable Webhook Endpoints After Repeated Delivery Failures

Webhook endpoints that consistently fail deliveries are now automatically disabled. If an endpoint returns HTTP 410 (Gone) or fails 10 consecutive deliveries, the webhook is disabled and administrators are notified. The webhook list and detail pages show the auto-disable reason, and re-enabling the webhook or changing the URL resets the failure counter. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/webhooks-api

API Web Hooks, Administrators - WM-24919

IMPROVED Balanced Automatic Job Slicing With a Configurable Job Cap

When a large document is automatically split into several jobs in a Standard project, paragraphs are now distributed evenly across all jobs instead of being packed into fixed-size chunks with the leftovers concentrated in the last job. Project managers can also configure the maximum number of jobs per document. The result is fairer workloads for translators, more predictable delivery times per job, and more balanced cost allocation when slices are assigned to different suppliers. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/automatic-job-slicing

Job Management, Translators, Project Managers, Clients - WM-24761

IMPROVED Order ID and Order Reference Now Available in Standard Job and Project Views

Two new opt-in columns, Order Reference and Order Id, are now available in the column customizer of the Standard jobs list, and the Order ID column in the project list is now gated by order access rights. Both columns support text filtering, and the Standard job detail page also shows the linked order.

IMPROVED Updated Links and Descriptions in the Google Cloud Translation Connector

The Google Cloud Translation connector configuration now points to current Google documentation and shows accurate field descriptions, making it easier for administrators to set up the connector without following broken or outdated links.

wbt, Project Managers, Administrators - WM-24647

IMPROVED Order Form Now Supports up to 250 Files per Order

Administrators can now configure the New Order Form to accept up to 250 files per order, up from the previous cap of 60. Existing order forms keep their current configured values. Clients submitting large file batches no longer need zip-file workarounds, and end-to-end automation through the order API works without hitting the previous file count ceiling.

wbt, Project Managers, Clients, Administrators - WM-24382

IMPROVED Codyt Job IDs Displayed in Supplier Invoices Dashboard

The Supplier Quotes and Invoices Dashboard now displays Job IDs for Codyt jobs, matching the behavior already available for Standard jobs.

Codyt, wbt, Project Managers - WM-24542

IMPROVED Fixed Webhook Timeouts Silently Orphaning Notifications

When a webhook delivery to a slow customer endpoint exceeded the 30-second response window, the timeout was misclassified and the notification was silently dropped without being recorded or retried. Webhooks to slow endpoints are now properly marked as timed out and follow the standard retry behavior, restoring monitoring accuracy and reducing false alerts.

API Web Hooks, wbt, Clients, Administrators - WM-24758

IMPROVED Combined File Upload and Preparation Wizard

Uploading and preparing files for translation is now a single flow. After files upload successfully, tick the new "Prepare file(s) for translation" checkbox in the upload popup, choose Mark for online translation or Mark for offline translation (Standard projects only), and continue straight into the preparation wizard, without having to switch between dialogs. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/upload-document-s

wbt, Project Managers - WM-24861

IMPROVED Monolingual by Column Mode and Word-Level Do-Not-Translate for CSV Files

The CSV parser configuration now offers the same Monolingual by column mode and word-level do-not-translate options previously available only for Excel files. Administrators can map a single source language column together with custom field, comment, and context columns, and mark specific words or terms as protected so translators see them as locked markup. Existing CSV configurations are unchanged; both options are opt-in and backward compatible. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/csv-configuration-options

Parsers, Translators, Project Managers, Administrators - WM-24803

FIX Fixed Incorrect 100% Match Score for Memory Entries Without a Target Translation

Translation memory entries that had no target translation were sometimes returned as 100% matches in XLIFF API responses. Match scores now correctly reflect the absence of a target, so downstream tools and translators are no longer misled into trusting empty matches.

API, Translators, Project Managers, Administrators - WM-24656

FIX Fixed Automatic Interpreting Job Creation From Orders

Submitting an interpreting order through the New Order Form now correctly creates the interpreting job inside the resulting Standard project, with the configured appointment start and end times. A regression introduced earlier in 2026 caused document-free tasks such as interpreting jobs to be silently skipped, forcing managers to create the job manually. The end-to-end automation has been restored.

Order Management, Translators - WM-24515

FIX Fixed Loss of Single Non-Breaking and Soft Hyphens in Word Documents

Single non-breaking hyphens and single soft hyphens inside Word documents were silently dropped during extraction. They now appear as visible markup tags in the editor and are preserved in the translated document.

Parsers, Translators, Project Managers - WM-24237

FIX Color-Based Do Not Translate Text Now Visible at Cell and Paragraph Boundaries

Color-based "do not translate" text that appears at the start or end of a cell or paragraph in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint files is now preserved as a hidden tag in the editor, matching how text in the middle was already handled. Translators can see this content exists and reposition it for languages with different word order, instead of having it disappear silently and reappear at fixed positions in the delivered file. The change applies to documents using parser version 72 or higher in exclude-by-color mode; existing documents on earlier parser versions and translation memory entries are unaffected. Re-parsing an existing document may produce slightly lower TM matches on segments that previously lacked these boundary tags.

wbt, Translators, Project Managers - WM-24826

FIX Preserve Whitespace Between Inline XML Tags in Exported Files

Whitespace between consecutive self-closing inline tags in XML files containing HTML content was silently dropped during export, corrupting the output. Exported files now preserve whitespace exactly as shown in the editor.

Parsers, Project Managers - WM-24519

FIX Fixed DOCX Export Corruption With Chinese, Japanese, and Korean Text

DOCX exports containing Chinese, Japanese, or Korean text could become corrupted because of an outdated font filter. Wordbee Translator now uses an explicit allowlist of safe fonts, so CJK content is preserved correctly in exported Word files.
