New InDesign Option to Exclude Hidden Conditional Text
The InDesign parser now has an "Extract hidden conditional text" toggle (off by default). By default, text that a designer has hidden using InDesign's conditional text feature is now excluded from translation, so translators no longer spend time on content that will never appear in the final file. If you do need hidden text translated, you can turn the toggle on. The reconstructed file always preserves conditional text wrappers, so no content is lost. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/adobe-indesign-files

New Auto-Detect XLIFF Target Language on Mark Online
A new opt-in XLIFF option reads each file's declared target language when you mark files online and routes each file only to the matching project language. So a German XLIFF goes only to the German document and a French XLIFF only to the French document, letting you tick all languages at once without creating wrong-language duplicate documents. The option is off by default; you turn it on once in the XLIFF parser configuration. Available for Standard projects. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/xliff-configuration-options

New Build a Job From a Dynamic Content Selection by Segment Status
In Standard projects, a workflow step can now be set to work on only the segments whose status matches a chosen set (for example, red-status segments only) instead of the whole document. Wordbee waits until the previous step finishes, then fills the job with just those segments and counts the words at that moment. Until then the job shows a "not ready yet" message, and if nothing matches, the job is canceled. This focuses human review on the content that needs it, lowering cost and turnaround. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/dynamic-content-selection-jobs

Improved Editor Statistics and Delivery Checklist Now Reflect the Job Status
When per-job segment status is enabled, the Editor's Statistics figures and the job delivery "Translations done" checklist now count segments based on the status of the job you are working in, matching what the segment rows already show. Before, these summaries still counted the shared project-wide status, so a translator could see all-neutral segments yet be warned about errors that did not belong to their job.

Improved Edit Distance and Machine Translation Engine Now Available in Job and Segment Reports
The per-job and per-segment edit-distance figures (how much a translation was changed, and how far it moved from the raw machine translation, in both characters and percentage) are now available in reports, along with the name of the machine translation engine used. Previously these numbers appeared only in an on-screen popup. Nothing is recalculated; the reports simply read values already stored on each job. Clients who need these figures can add them to custom report templates. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/job-edit-distance

Improved Import 100% Pre-Translations From XLIFF as Neutral
When you re-import an XLIFF file, untouched 100% pre-translations now come back neutral (gray) instead of being flagged as errors, matching how the stronger 110% (in-context) pre-translations already behave. Before, valid reused-memory content returned flagged red after an offline round-trip, forcing users to clear the status by hand. The online QA check still flags any real problems. Applies to both Standard and Codyt projects. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/exporting-and-importing-content-in-xliff-for-offline-work
Wordbee Website, Project Managers, Administrators - WM-25957
Improved Require a Value When Enabling AI Analysis Parameters
When you enable an AI-flow parameter that only works with a concrete value (such as a password, number, checkbox, dropdown, or multi-select), Wordbee now requires you to provide that value before saving. Text fields such as Custom Instructions stay optional. This prevents accidentally switching on an option and leaving it empty, which used to silently do nothing. Existing configurations keep working, and saved passwords are preserved if you leave the password box blank.

Improved Codyt Jobs Reopens on Your Last-Used Sub-Tab and Explains Empty Lists
The Codyt jobs page now reopens on the sub-tab you last viewed ("All my jobs" or "All company jobs") instead of always defaulting to "All my jobs." When a view has no jobs, it now shows a short "No jobs in this view" message instead of a silent empty list. The page never switches your scope automatically, so you stay in control of what you are looking at.

Improved Preserve Non-Translatable XLIFF Rows as Locked, Completed Context
A new opt-in XLIFF option (off by default) keeps non-translatable rows visible in Wordbee instead of dropping them. Rows that contain only markup, or that are explicitly marked "do not translate," are shown as locked, green (read-only, done) rows, so translators see the full context of the file, cannot edit the technical content, and QA does not flag those rows. This works consistently for both XLIFF v1 and v2 files, and nothing changes unless the option is turned on. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/xliff-configuration-options
File Formats, Parsers, Project Managers - WM-25871
Improved Exclude Specific Companies From SSO-Driven Profile Updates
Administrators can now exempt specific companies from having their profile details updated by single sign-on (SSO) at login. Users from an excluded company still sign in normally through SSO, but their name, email, role, and company details are left untouched, which is useful when those details are managed by a separate integration. Everyone else continues to have their profile refreshed from SSO as before. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/single-sign-on
SSO, Administrators - WM-25951
Improved Clearer Highlighting of the Active Sub-Tab on Wordbee Translator Pages
On the many pages that use a second-level link bar (such as "All my jobs" versus "All company jobs"), the currently selected sub-tab is now underlined so you can instantly see which section or scope you are viewing. Before, both sub-tabs looked almost identical. Layout, spacing, and links are unchanged.
Usability - WM-25924
Improved Set Multilingual Excel Layout Direction From the Column Languages
When producing a multilingual Excel deliverable, Wordbee now decides the sheet's left-to-right or right-to-left layout by looking at all of the file's column languages together, rather than the single language line you finalized from. So a file mixing Arabic with English and French keeps the sheet left-to-right and flows only the Arabic text right-to-left within its own cells. A file that is entirely right-to-left still flips as before, and the result no longer depends on which delivery line you finalized. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/how-to-translate-multilingual-excel-files
File Formats, Project Managers, Administrators - WM-25964
Fix Excel Markup-Only Cells No Longer Lost in Multilingual and By-Column Deliverables
Multilingual and monolingual-by-column Excel deliverables no longer lose cells whose only content is a placeholder or variable (for example a token like {[BURN]}). Before, these cells were dropped on import and came back empty in the delivered file. Now the original content is always restored, so nothing is silently lost. This is automatic, with no setting to configure.

Fix S721 File QA Oversight Report Now Generates Reliably Over Busy Periods
The S721 File QA Oversight Report now generates reliably even when the selected date range covers a busy period with many files and jobs. Before, it could fail and produce no file on high-volume accounts. The report's content and layout are unchanged.
Reports, Project Managers - WM-26148
Fix Preview or Build of a Source File No Longer Corrupts the Document
Previewing or building the source file of a document no longer overwrites the document's real source version. Before, doing so could leave the document's source record invalid, which then silently broke actions such as "mark for no translation." Now the source stays intact and those operations keep working.
Document Versioning, Preview, Translators, Project Managers - WM-25988
Fix S411 Oversight Report Now Generates Reliably Over Busy Periods
The S411 Oversight Report now generates reliably even when the selected date range covers a busy period with many jobs. Before, it could fail and produce no file on high-volume accounts. The report's content and layout are unchanged.
Reports, Project Managers - WM-26150
Fix AI Machine Translation No Longer Fails While the Flow Is Still Running
AI-powered machine translation no longer reports a failure when the AI flow is simply taking longer to finish. Before, if the flow took longer than expected, the run could be marked as failed even though it was still working and would have completed successfully. The run now waits appropriately and reflects the flow's real outcome.
AI, Project Managers - WM-26558
Fix C1028 Jobs Single Line Report Now Generates Reliably Over Busy Periods
The C1028 Jobs Single Line Report now generates reliably even when the selected date range covers a busy period with a large number of jobs and invoices. Before, it could fail and produce no file on busy accounts. The report's content and layout are unchanged.
Reports, Project Managers - WM-26158
Fix Jobs Page Work-Progress Bar Now Fills In Automatically for All Jobs
The work-progress bar on the Jobs pages now shows each job's real progress as soon as the page loads, including jobs worked in the previous editor. Before, some completed jobs showed an empty or 0% bar until you clicked the refresh icon on each row. Now the bar is accurate on load for both Standard and Codyt jobs, with no manual refresh needed.
