New New Document Version Options in Standard Projects: Reuse the Workflow and Archive the Previous Version

When a client sends an updated document in a Standard project, the "Create new version" step now offers two options. The first copies the previous version's workflow and its assigned suppliers, so you no longer rebuild the workflow and reassign every translator by hand. The second completes and archives the previous version: its jobs are closed, the old file is renamed and moved into a "Past versions" subfolder, and the new file takes over the original name. Both options are off by default, so leave them unticked if you need to keep and deliver both versions. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/versioning-management-standard-project

New Codyt Job Lists Respect the Order Reference Permission

The permission that lets an external supplier see order references and client details already worked on the Standard job and project lists, but the two Codyt lists hid the Order reference and Order Id columns from every external user, even one who held it. Those columns, and the order reference search filter on the Codyt jobs tab, now follow the same permission as everywhere else, so you see the same order information whichever list you open.

New Give AI Agent Services an Alias to Tell Them Apart

A supplier can offer the same AI task more than once, for example one Translation service tuned for legal content and another for life sciences, and both read simply "Translation" in the price list. You can now give each AI service an optional alias. Click the AI icon anywhere it appears, in the price list, the supplier selection popup, or a jobs list, and the information window shows the alias, so you know which variant you are picking. No columns or icons change. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/ai-powered-suppliers

New Optionally Delete a Previous Supplier's Invoice When a Codyt Job Is Reassigned or Removed

A new workspace setting under Settings > Work Processes > Jobs lets you choose what happens to a supplier's linked quote/invoice when a Codyt job is reassigned to someone else or unassigned. By default, the invoice is kept as before. When set to Delete, the invoice is removed automatically — but only if no work had started on the job (the job was still unassigned, not started, or inactive) and the invoice is not shared with other jobs; jobs that are in progress, completed, or cancelled always keep their invoices. This applies to all reassignment paths, including manual assignment, crowd assignment, the workflow screen, and the API. Standard (non-Codyt) jobs are unaffected.

New Comment Notifications Only List Managers for the Comment's Language

Each additional manager on a project is configured for a particular language pair, but the comment notification list ignored that and offered every additional manager. It now honors the configuration, so commenting on a Spanish translation no longer offers a manager who only covers Japanese. The primary manager covers the whole project and is always listed. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/comments

Improved Filter Workers by Matching Languages in the "Set Worker" Dialog

When assigning a job to a person of a client company, the "Set worker" dialog now offers a new "Matching languages only" checkbox. When enabled, the worker list only shows people whose services cover the job's source language, target language, and task — including regional and wildcard language matches. The option is off by default, so existing behavior is unchanged unless you use it, and it can be combined with the existing name search. Exact language-pair matches keep their green flag, and the filter is available both in Job Details and in the Assign jobs wizard.

Improved Watch Live Progress for AI Agent Work on a Job

When an AI agent was working on a job, the "AI Agent Work Status" popup showed only "Executing", so there was no way to tell whether it was stuck, halfway, or nearly finished. The popup now shows live progress, for example "Processing... 42%", and refreshes while it is open. If progress information is not available, the popup looks exactly as it did before. Improved AI Translation in MT Hive Draws on the Form's Memories and Term Bases

An MT Hive order form first fills segments from the memories and term bases you list on it, then machine translates whatever is left. When that machine translation step uses an AI engine, the AI now draws on exactly those memories and term bases, so its output follows the client's own terminology and past work. Resources are always resolved from the order's own form, never from another client's. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/how-to-configure-and-assign-mt-hive-forms

Improved Show Markup-Only Excel Cells as Locked Context Rows

Some Excel cells hold nothing but a placeholder, a variable, or text you have marked as non-translatable, so they were left out of the editor entirely. A new option, off by default, shows those cells as locked read-only rows instead, giving translators the surrounding context without letting them edit content that should not change. The target is pre-filled to match the source, and the option covers all three Excel configuration types. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/excel-configuration-options

Improved Turn AI Assistants Off for an Individual Project

A new "Disable AI assistants for project" option lets administrators and project managers switch off the editor's AI features for a single project, so you can offer clients work that carries no AI involvement while keeping AI available everywhere else. When the option is on, the AI suggestion and rephrase button and the AI filters are hidden from translators working on that project. The setting can also be preset on order form templates and captured in project templates, so new projects inherit it automatically. It applies to both Standard and Codyt projects. Improved Search by Name in the Set Worker Popup

Assigning a job to a specific person inside a large supplier company meant scrolling and paging through the company's entire list of qualified workers. A search box at the top of the "Set worker" popup now narrows the list to the names matching what you type, and paging works on those matches. Clear the box to return to the full list. The same search appears in the "Assign jobs" wizard, which uses the same popup. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/create-and-assign-jobs

Improved Word Text Hidden by a Character Style Stays Out of Translation

Wordbee already left out Word text hidden by direct formatting or by a paragraph style, but text hidden only through a character style was still pulled in for translation. Character styles are now recognized too, so hidden text stays out however the author hid it. This keeps confidential or instructional content out of your projects and out of your word counts. Documents already parsed keep their current content until a new version is parsed. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/word-configuration-options

Improved See AI Machine Translation Progress While Preparing Files

When an AI translation engine handles the machine translation phase of preparing documents, the "Prepare files" popup now shows live progress, such as the percentage completed per target language, so you can see the work moving and roughly how far along it is. Progress appears during long preparations that previously showed only a static "Counting..." message. Classic machine translation engines and the other preparation phases are unchanged. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/ai-powered-suppliers

Improved Manual TM Consolidation Now Honors the Memory's "Merge Languages" Setting

The manual "Consolidate project memory" action now respects the translation memory's "Merge Languages" setting, just like automatic consolidation at the end of a workflow already does. Previously, manual consolidation always folded regional languages (such as en-US or fr-FR) into their base language (en, fr), regardless of the memory's setting. Now, if the memory is configured to keep regional languages (the default), a manual consolidation preserves and creates them — so a memory with en/fr will start gaining en-US/fr-FR when the project uses those locales. Users who prefer the previous merge behavior can set the memory's "Merge Languages" setting to merge, or adjust individual languages via "Show language options" in the consolidation popup, where an explicit choice always takes precedence.

Fix Report S410 Shows the Order ID for Canceled Orders

Report S410 stopped showing the client Order ID on rows whose order had been canceled, and Standard rows never showed it. The Order ID is now shown for every job row whether the order is active or canceled, in both Codyt and Standard projects, matching what report S400 already does. If you would rather leave canceled work out of the report, the existing "Canceled projects excluded" option still does that. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/report-s410-jobs-counts-costs

Fix Outsourced orders: notifications now follow each recipient's role

In outsourced (three-party) orders, order messages and the proposal-accepted / work-in-progress events are now decided from each recipient's own position in the outsourcing chain, instead of from a single global client/supplier label.
Two gaps are fixed. A master-company manager's message now reaches the outsourcing supplier, through the supplier's "Notify text message by client" option, which is on by default. And a message from any user of the outsourcing company - not only the registered outsourcing contact - now reaches the order requestor and its co-owners.
This is a visible behaviour change in both directions. Participants in outsourced orders will start receiving notifications that were previously suppressed. Conversely, a master company will no longer be notified of messages posted by an unregistered colleague of its outsourcing company unless it enables "Notify text message by supplier"; those notifications previously arrived only by accident, through a misclassification. Enabling that one option restores them.
No notification default has been changed, an explicit opt-out always wins, and non-outsourced (two-party) orders are unaffected.

Fix Run an AI Quality Check Without Affecting the Job Status

You can now run an AI quality check on a job that is in progress and the job keeps its status: the check simply reports its findings and leaves the workflow where it was, instead of moving the job to Completed. This holds wherever the check starts, whether from the Editor, the QA panel, a Codyt workflow, or a batch job.

Fix See and Change the HTML Content Setting in Monolingual Excel Configurations

Monolingual Excel configurations now show the "Content is html" section, with help text explaining how the setting behaves in that mode. You can check whether it is on and switch it off, instead of the setting sitting hidden and unchangeable. Showing the section also makes the new option to display markup-only cells as locked rows available here. For more information, see: https://help.wordbee.com/wbt/excel-configuration-options

Fix Save Button Now Always Reachable When Editing Counts on Codyt Jobs

On Codyt jobs, the Manage → Counts & Cost popup could clip the Save button when editing counts on jobs with many count rows: the content extended below the fixed window height and could not be scrolled, leaving Save reachable only via the Tab key. The popup content now scrolls within the window whenever it exceeds the available height, so Save, Cancel, and all count fields remain reachable with the mouse. When the content fits, nothing changes — no scrollbar appears and the layout is identical. Costs, validation, and permissions are unaffected.

Fix DeepL Pre-Translation Handles Formatting That Spans Segments

When a document uses bold, italic, or colored text that continues across sentence boundaries, DeepL pre-translation could leave whole groups of segments untranslated while the job still reported success. Wordbee now prepares these segments correctly before sending them to DeepL, so they translate and keep their original formatting. If DeepL still cannot translate one segment, Wordbee leaves only that segment blank and continues with the rest of the batch. The usual machine translation failure notifications now report any remaining failure, so it no longer goes unnoticed.

Fix Add Resources Reliably on Accounts With Very Large Libraries

The 'Add resource' popup in a project's Resources tab now opens reliably on accounts of any size: it loads the resource list in pages instead of all at once. Project memories are no longer shown by default; a filter lets you display the current client's project memories when needed. This fixes an error that could prevent the popup from opening on accounts with very large resource libraries.

Fix Multi-Line Custom Instructions Work in AI Flows

You can now write custom instructions in their natural shape, across several lines and with tabs, for example a bulleted list of translation guidelines in the machine translation settings, a supplier service, or a QA profile. The AI flow runs them correctly, instead of failing before producing any translation, post-edit, or quality check.

AI, Project Managers - WM-26761

Fix Order Creation Handles Misnamed Files Gracefully

Order creation now copes with files whose name does not match their content, such as an image saved with an .xml name. The file check completes quickly, and the order either goes through or the file is rejected with a clear "format not supported" message. Previously such a file could leave order creation stuck and the order was never created.

File Formats, TRM, Project Managers - WM-26584

Fix Run a QA Check on a Completed Job in Standard Projects

You can now run a QA check from a job's page in Standard projects even when the job is Completed or its documents are marked as done. Your permission to work on the job is all that matters. This fixes a 'You are not authorized to run QA' error that blocked QA on Completed jobs, including for administrators.
