Propagation Concepts
When working with multiple software versions, you may want to:
Propagate changes made in an older version into all newer versions.
Enable change tracking at specific points in time using labels.
This is possible through custom scripts, which the Wordbee team can configure based on your requirements. Propagation can occur automatically or manually in the following cases:
When pushing content via the API → Propagates source text changes.
When completing workflows or jobs → Propagates translation changes.
When explicitly propagating from the Editor → You can select specific or all filtered translations and propagate them using the dedicated menu options.
How changes are propagated across branches strongly depends on your specific requirements and workflows. That is why this feature is script based. You can define the direction of propagation, what and when data shall be propagated, whether meta-data should be set and so on. The sky is the limit. Please reach out to the Wordbee Solutions Team.
