AI in Wordbee Translator

Wordbee Translator includes AI capabilities across the platform, in two families:

  • AI workflows automate the work itself: translating content, improving existing translations, and checking linguistic quality.

  • AI assistants help people while they work: revising translations in the Editor, building filters, configuring parsers, and drafting messages.

This page gives an overview of both and points you to the detailed documentation.

AI Workflows

AI workflows put AI to work inside your projects: producing the first translation of your content, improving translations that already exist, and adding AI checks on top of the built-in quality checks. They read your translation memory and your terminology first, so the output follows your style and your approved terms instead of sounding like a generic engine.

The workflows integrate into your existing structure. AI translation runs as a machine translation engine wherever machine translation runs today. Post-editing and quality assurance run as AI suppliers: define an AI-driven service in a supplier pricelist, assign a job to it, and the work starts the moment the job does, with no one clicking to accept it. When the workflow finishes, the content is updated and the job is completed automatically, leading to whatever comes next in your workflow. Quality assurance additionally runs wherever a QA check runs: add the AI checks to a QA profile, and they are part of every QA run with that profile, whether started from the Editor, from the job's details page, or as an automated step between jobs. Throughout, you keep full visibility: live progress, readable error messages, and cancellation that genuinely stops the work.

  • AI Workflows: what the workflows cover, how they use your language data, and how they fit alongside your team.

  • AI-powered suppliers: setting up an AI agent as a service in a supplier pricelist, and monitoring its work.

  • Tracking AI Work: following progress, understanding failures, and cancelling a running workflow.

AI Assistants

AI assistants support people as they work:

  • AI Editing Assistant: linguists select an editing mode in the Editor and let the assistant generate a revised translation to review and apply.

  • AI Panel: describe the segments you want to see in everyday language, and the assistant builds the grid filter for you.

  • Assistants also help configure document format profiles and draft messages at job or order level.

For clients whose content must not be processed by AI, the Editor's assistants can be switched off per project: see Disabling AI Assistants for a Project.
