NEW Enhanced Segment Validation Control

We have introduced a new permission setting within the Workflow & Suppliers page that allows for tighter control over the validation process. For each individual workflow step, it is now possible to restrict users from changing the segment status to "Ok". This ensures that segments are not finalized prematurely and allows to dictate exactly which step in the workflow holds the authority to approve the content.

NEW Instant Access to Supplier Notes in Supplier Finder Screen

To help users make informed decisions when assigning jobs, we have added a Notes tab directly to the Supplier Finder screen. This allows managers (with access right R950) to view critical internal comments and company notes without navigating away from the assignment workflow. The tab automatically remains greyed out if no notes are present, ensuring users can quickly identify when extra context is available.

IMPROVED Filter User Operations by Resource ID

We have introduced the Resource ID to help users link entries on the User Operations page to specific projects. Users can find this ID in the Project Information tooltip or by clicking the project name in the Reference column on the main Projects page. The ID can be used to filter the User Operations list, allowing users to easily isolate and review all operations associated with a particular project.

IMPROVED Retrieve All Project Managers via APIv1

The APIv1 ApiProject response has been enhanced to include contact information for additional managers assigned to a project. This allows users to retrieve the full list of project stakeholders, rather than just the primary project manager.

IMPROVED Segment-Level Custom Fields Now Available as Default Editor Columns

We have updated the column settings in Workflow & Suppliers to include segment-level custom fields. Managers can now pre-select these fields alongside existing source and target language fields, ensuring they appear by default as soon as the Editor is opened.

IMPROVED Enhanced JSON Metadata Extraction

We have significantly raised the limit for custom field extraction in the JSON parser. Users can now map up to 40 custom fields, up from the previous limit of 5, ensuring that files with extensive metadata can be fully processed without restrictions.

IMPROVED Improved TM Consolidation with Context-Based Duplicates

We have updated the TM consolidation logic to support storing identical translation pairs with unique context identifiers. By enabling the new "Allow context-based duplicates" option in the consolidation settings, users can ensure these segments are preserved as separate entries, guaranteeing 110% matches for future leverage.

IMPROVED Streamlined Project Document Uploading

We have improved the upload process within the Project Documents tab. The 'Upload file/s' button now instantly opens the drag-and-drop window which includes a file browsing option, eliminating the previous intermediate menu step. Additionally, we have enhanced the underlying engine to deliver significantly faster upload speeds.

IMPROVED Transfer Metadata to New Files when Updating Document Versions in Standard Projects

We have updated the document versioning process for Standard projects to give users better control over data continuity. When marking a new version of a source file for online translation, users can now explicitly choose to carry over crucial translation metadata—specifically comments, revisions, custom fields, and labels—from the previous version.

IMPROVED Updated Default Privacy Settings for New External Users

To improve supplier anonymity, the default value for access right R264 ("Can see worker names") is now set to disabled for all newly created external user profiles. Existing profiles remain unchanged. However, if this setting is enabled on a profile, admin users will now see the standard warning icon indicating that the configuration differs from the system default.

IMPROVED Streamline Job Assignment to Order Requesters

We have enhanced the "Automatically assign to client company" mode to reduce manual intervention. When the users now select this mode in the Workflow & Suppliers settings, a new "Assign to requester user" checkbox becomes available. Enabling this option will assign the job to the user who created the order, provided they have a "client and worker" profile. If the user lacks this profile, manual assignment by a manager will still be required.

FIX Guaranteed Term Visibility for Consistent Translation Quality

We have optimized the Translation Finder to ensure terminology database entries are never hidden by translation memory matches. By querying terms independently, we now guarantee that approved terminology is always displayed, ensuring strict adherence to glossaries and consistent quality across all projects.

FIX Restored Warning Alerts for Delayed Job Assignments

We have restored the functionality for the 'Flag jobs not assigned within time span' setting in the work processes. The system will now correctly display a warning symbol in the job list if a job remains unassigned or unaccepted beyond the user's configured limit, ensuring that assignment delays are immediately visible.

NEW Map CSV Columns to Segment Custom Fields

We have updated the multilingual CSV parser to support custom field extraction. You can now map specific CSV columns to your platform's predefined segment custom fields and specify whether these values apply to a particular language or at the segment level for all languages. This ensures that vital context and metadata are captured and displayed directly within the Editor.

NEW Enhanced Standard Job Batch Assignment

The Update Assignee batch action for Standard jobs now supports direct bulk assignment across mixed projects, tasks, and languages. Located under the Assign jobs tab, the new Select supplier option automatically validates the selection against the supplier's services, assigning only the compatible jobs. This improvement significantly reduces administrative overhead by allowing managers to assign large volumes of diverse jobs at once, eliminating the need for repetitive individual updates.

NEW DeepL Arabic Language Support

Arabic is now available in the list of supported languages for DeepL. This update expands translation capabilities, facilitating content management for Arabic-speaking markets.

NEW New Access Right for Key/Context Field

We have introduced access right R266 to control the modification of Key/Context fields in the Editor. While enabled by default, this permission can be revoked to make the field read-only, preventing users from editing or locking keys and ensuring data integrity for critical segment identifiers.

IMPROVED Progress Bar Now Excludes Cancelled Jobs

Cancelled jobs are now omitted from the main progress bar to provide a more accurate view of active work completion. These jobs remain visible via a new, distinct counter within the progress details pop-up, ensuring precise tracking of active work for all stakeholders.

IMPROVED Automatic Client Reference Material Import

We have introduced an option to automatically copy reference materials into new projects. This setting becomes available when a folder named "Templates" containing subfolders is detected in the client’s Documents tab. Once active, users can select a specific subfolder from the dropdown to automatically import its contents as reference material for all subsequently created projects.

IMPROVED S410 Report Custom Field Limit Increased to 50

The S410 report has been updated to support up to 50 custom fields for projects, an increase from the previous limit of 20. This enhancement ensures compatibility with recent platform updates and allows users to export all available project data in a single, comprehensive report.

IMPROVED Enhanced XLIFF Export with Automatic Tag Validation

The XLIFF export process now validates inline tag markers, automatically repairing or removing malformed tags to prevent failures. This ensures successful file generation and uninterrupted access to exported data.

IMPROVED XLIFF Filename Limit Increased for Editor Imports

The XLIFF filename limit for Editor imports has been increased from 120 to 200 characters, preventing import failures and ensuring consistent behavior across all import options.

We have restored the "Comments" column for Standard jobs, making it available on both the main jobs page and project-specific job pages. The column is available again to be added via the "Edit view" settings. This ensures users can view comment data directly within the interface, providing consistency with previous workflows.

We have resolved an issue causing DeepL MT to skip or truncate segments when translating long texts without proper punctuation. The system now employs DeepL's standard sentence splitting, ensuring full and complete translations for any text length without sacrificing quality.

FIX Exact Locale Matching for Order Form Automatic Invoice Creation

We have updated the pricing logic for order forms configured to automatically create invoices. The system now validates the full source locale code rather than just the base language. This ensures the exact price for a specific language variant is applied, preventing billing errors during automated processing.
