The Navigation menu helps you move through the grid without scrolling: jump straight to a known segment, step through segments that match a status, a lock state, a comment, or how they were translated, and confirm or reject translations as you go.
The Shortcut column shows the default keyboard shortcuts. On Mac, use Cmd instead of Ctrl. To change a shortcut, go to Preferences > Shortcuts.

Go To
Use Go to to land on a segment you already know, instead of scrolling or building a filter. For example, when a colleague mentions a segment number, or when you want to return to the same place after switching documents.
Follow these steps to go to a segment:
-
Select Navigation > Go to, or press Ctrl+Alt+G.
-
Type a Segment Nr or a Segment ID in its field.
-
Press Enter, or click the arrow button next to the field.
The grid scrolls to the matching segment and selects it, ready for you to edit, comment, or apply any other action.
|
Field |
What to enter |
|---|---|
|
Segment Nr |
The sequential number shown in the first column of the grid. Not available when several documents are open. |
|
Segment ID |
The internal unique identifier of the segment. You can find it in the Properties panel or in API responses. |
Go to is available in jobs and projects.
Navigate By
Navigate by opens a small dialog that finds the next or previous segment matching the criteria you choose, in the language column you have selected. Select a cell in that language first. You can drag the dialog anywhere on the screen.
Use the up and down arrow buttons in the dialog to move between matches, or press Alt+Shift+H (previous) and Alt+Shift+N (next). If no segment matches, the dialog shows Not found.
|
Option |
What it finds |
|---|---|
|
Status |
Segments with the status you select: Neutral, Confirmed, or Error. You can select several. |
|
Lock |
Locked or Unlocked segments. |
|
Comment |
Segments with Resolved or Unresolved comments. |
|
Last editors |
Segments by how their translation was last produced: Untranslated, Modified by user, 100% pre-translation (exact), 110% pre-translation (in-context), Fuzzy pre-translation, Machine translation, or Machine correction. You can select several. Untranslated is not available in the source column. |
